announcement   Dear Partner Universities,
On behalf of the University of Debrecen, it is our great pleasure to invite your outstanding BSc and MSc students to present their scientific projects and research achievements at our upcoming international online forum on Friday, November 6, 2026.
This conference is strictly aligned with the traditional Hungarian Scientific Student Association (TDK) framework—a long-standing national model designed to foster early-stage academic excellence, independent research, and mentorship under senior faculty supervision. The forum is an exceptional platform for talented students, particularly those aspiring to pursue doctoral (PhD) studies at the University of Debrecen.
General Rules & Application Guidelines
  • Eligibility: Open to active students currently enrolled in BSc or MSc degree programs.
  • Topic Selection & Mentorship: Students present their own research topic, carried out under the guidance of an academic advisor or research supervisor.
  • Submission Requirement: Applicants must submit a 1-page abstract including a reference list.
  • Submission Deadline: October 25, 2026. (The online submission portal link will be shared shortly).
  • Peer Review Process: Each submitted abstract will be evaluated by professional reviewers to determine acceptance for oral presentation.
  • Oral Online Presentation: Accepted authors will deliver a 10–15 minute online presentation before a professional jury panel and the audience, followed by an academic Q&A session.
